Getting Absolutely Lost in the Arknights: Endfield Hype at LaLaport

Honestly, my Saturday was supposed to be just a boring grocery run, but my feet somehow “accidentally” dragged me all the way to Gourmet Street at LaLaport BBCC.

The moment I saw the Arknights: Endfield signs outside ORBcafe, all my adult responsibilities instantly evaporated. I am so ready for this game, and seeing the massive character graphics in person just hit me differently.

The Vibe Check

Walking in felt like stepping right out of KL and straight onto Talos-II. They’ve got these life-sized standees everywhere, and yes, I absolutely stood next to Perlica looking like a total dork while trying to get a picture.

The best part? The place was packed with people who just got it. You look around and see everyone looking at the same trailers on their phones, comparing merchandise, and just buzzing with that genuine fan energy. It’s hard not to feel happy when you’re surrounded by your own kind.

The Gacha Pain is Real (Even in a Cafe)

I sat down, ordered a drink to get the exclusive acrylic coaster, and the sheer anxiety of the blind-box pull hit me. It’s the exact same feeling as pulling on a banner in-game, I swear. I didn’t get my absolute top tier favorite, but the coaster I got is still going straight onto my work desk to keep me sane on Monday.

Final Verdict

If you’re even remotely into the Arknights universe, just go. Don’t overthink it. It’s just a really cool, comforting space to chill out for an hour or two.

It’s only open until 2 August, so make sure to drop by before it’s gone!
