A weekend getaway to Mount Fuji

Hi there everyone, it is Medo here this week, and I have brought you some really beautiful scenes I have captured on my visit to Yamanashi prefecture where Mount Fuji dominates the sky with its glory!

As we all know that Mount Fuji is actually located within two prefectures, Yamanashi and Shizuoka.
but we did not all know to which prefecture the summit belongs to.

Yet I figured out that Mount Fuji summit does not belong to any of the two prefectures, so if you reach the top of the mountain, you are considered out of the two prefectures.

However Mount Fuji summit is considered to be a holy land and it does not belong to any prefecture.

enough with the talking and let me show you some beautiful scenes.

The reflection of the Mountain on the lake is just magnificent ! isn’t it?

You can’t just go to Yamanashi without trying their specialty dish (which I actually did not know of btw) HOUTOU that consists of flat Udon and lots of veggies, miso base soup and huge chunks of pumpkin!

I got hungry just explaining the ingredients ( ̄﹃ ̄)

Next I went to FujiQ-Highlands, which is one of the biggest amusement parks in Japan, that has one of the tallest roller coasters in the world!
I have always liked roller coasters so I had to go there!

And at last, I went to take pictures of the famous Maple Corridor of Kawaguchi and as you can see, autumn in Japan is just beautiful…

Be it Yamanashi, Shizuoka, Tokyo or Osaka. Name the city and we will make sure to provide you with the related information for any media in Japan.

That’s it for today stay tuned for next weeks topic!

Ma’aSalama!
