Legal Age Change in Japan
TGIF everyone! todays topic is about the legal age change that is going to take action this year starting this April.
While I was walking in the train station a poster pulled my attention because it has my favourite characters from the the Anime Tokyo Revengers! I stopped to read what is written and understood that the Legal age in Japan is changing from 20 years old to 18 years old!
This change only effects changing the rules of having a house loan, mobile phone contracts and having a credit card where 18 year olds will not need to have their parents approval anymore.
Yet drinking alcohol, smoking and participating in gambling is still limited to 20 years old above!
